Polly Benedict


Ann played Polly Benedict, Mickey Rooney's long-suffering girlfriend on the Andy Hardy Movie Series from 1937-1942.

This is where I first discovered Ann.  No one had facial expressions quite like her!

For the rest of her life, people would come up to her and say, "Are you Polly Benedict?"  She would get such a kick out of it and told me, "And I laughed, and I laughed!"
